Could cost local nursery hundreds of thousands of dollars

PICKERING -- A beetle that threatens millions of North American ash trees has been found in Pickering. In December, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency confirmed the first Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) infestation in Durham. The affected trees are located in the Finch Avenue and Liverpool Road area on a residential street. It was discovered by a municipal arbourist.
