OSHAWA -- Jack Hinchey of Oshawa came home from Barcelona today $1 million richer.
The reason? He outplayed some of the world's best poker players in the first-ever off-line World Poker Crown tournament in Barcelona, Spain.
Mr. Hinchey, commonly known as PapaJack, is a plumber and proud grandfather who has been playing stud poker for 30 years. He and nine other finalists from around the globe – 4 in total from Canada - spent the week in Barcelona, compliments of 888.com, the world's largest on-line gaming organization.
